Running. Dancing. Talking.
Suddenly, everything about your child’s life is changing. By acquiring mobility and speech, your little one experiences the world in a whole new way, making language and related milestones an important component of our young toddler program.
But language is only one aspect of a varied curriculum that promises to stimulate and nurture very young minds and bodies. Learn more about a typical day (even though there’s really no such thing as a typical day for a young toddler). Children ages 18 months to two years develop faster than almost any other age group.
“No tears at the door. She has this wonderful day awaiting her, and she knows it.”
Knowledge of a young toddlers’ developmental milestones is critical, so that activities can be geared to help your child meet them. View a sample of activities your child may experience in a given week. Although we always attend to every child’s individual needs, the group experience is an important element of our program.
As the parent of a young toddler, you’ll want to closely follow your child’s progress and know what’s happening in your little one’s day. So we provide you with detailed information in our Daily Report - from snacks to activities to circle time. You’ll even know what’s planned for your child’s week before it happens with Rainbow Academy’s Peek-of-the-Week. And lunch is never a mystery; just check our meal plan which gives your child options, unlike some programs.
The classroom for young toddlers at Rainbow Academy is big and bright and cheery, with comfy furniture and even a special super-safe toddler table where the whole gang can gather together for lunch or activity. To see more, take our virtual tour or even a real tour.
