Today at Rainbow Academy Cranford, our soon-to-be 1-year-old is active and thriving. He always has hearty smiles and “high-fives” for teachers in the infant room, even though he has moved on to the pre-toddler baby room. In all areas, the caring staff is attentive and professional in every respect. Occasions both momentous (crawling, self-feeding, pulling up) and whimsical (participation in “wacky week”) are cause for celebration. The staff always is available in person or by phone to answer questions, has procedures for special healthcare needs and offers well-rounded, structured activities every day. The secure, on-site playground offers plenty of discovery on warm days. And for us, it’s always fun to look inside our son’s bag and read about his activities that day, not to mention discovering a new piece of artwork he may have created.
Any family with working parents may find themselves making special requests to their daycare provider. In matters such as a late arrival due to traffic delays or the pain associated with four teeth coming in at once (yikes!), the staff has always been flexible and compassionate. Special events are held throughout the year to honor and include all members of the family.
We originally toured Rainbow Academy based on the recommendation of a co-worker whose 4-year-old son has happily attended the facility ever since she returned from maternity leave.
