"As new parents we were really nervous about sending our son to daycare.  We thought that Rainbow was very convenient because we worked upstairs.  Convenience is not the determining factor when dealing with your child, safety and care determines everything.  We visited a few daycares before making our final decision, Rainbow Academy of Rutherford.  I cried and cried at the thought of my son, Elijah, being in someone else’s care for majority of the day.  After all, these were strangers and I knew that no one would take care of him the way I did.

I must say I am his mother, but he has acquired 4 other mothers in his 8 months here on earth.  Nilda, Maria, Pia and Janelle (Red Birds) are his other mothers and I love the care they give my son and the love they show my son.  They treat him as though he is their own, what else could a parent ask for.  I know that when I drop him off he is in good hands and they will see that he is in a safe, loving and learning environment."

"I am very sorry to say that as of September 1, 2009, Isabella Sena will no longer be attending Rainbow Academy.  We will be moving so she will be attending another school starting in September.

Rainbow Academy has been a family to us and I am truly saddened this has to occur.  Bella is growing to be quite the little girl of my dreams and I owe part of her specialness to the love, care and understanding of the excellent ladies at Rainbow.  I don’t believe I have met your match in creativity and the kids are always so engaged.  I think I will particularly miss touring the artwork in the hallways and discussing the day’s events with Bella’s teachers—picking up Bella from school has always been a special treat in my day.  Bella’s list of key points is probably a mile long including her “good morning ladies!” and letting loose in the gym on our way out.
